Sydney Warren; Designer

B.Design: Interior Design (IEG)

With schooling in different countries and an international education standard, Sydney holds her work to a high standard, aspiring for the utmost quality. Time abroad has given her an appreciation for an open mind, and an accepting and flexible approach towards various situations. Creating one’s path and breaking away from conformity is important to her. She resonates with the notion that design is thinking made visible, with a style inspired by contemporary aesthetics, out of the box designs and meaningful spaces when it comes to user experience.

“One can never underestimate the power of a strong concept, and keeping this in mind I strive to explore and try new things with every project. I really admire work that pushes the boundaries of the norm, work that sets new standards for design and encourages us as designers to always be willing to try something new.”

Rudolph has a unique contemporary design style that combines the consideration of fine detail and functionality with intriguing and unpredictable elements resulting in beautiful, well-planned spaces.

Alicia Maree ELDC Johannesburg

As my jet lag subsides, I am beginning to process the incredible work that you have done. You took my mandate and you delivered beyond expectations. I realize that unanticipated building constraints added to the challenge, but it’s clear you more than overcame them and have created a wonderful living space for me. I’m also especially impressed with how you used my inventory of furniture and art in the house. While some of these pieces are nearly 20 years old, you have completely refreshed and modernized them to fit perfectly into the home–a real achievement of the mandate. I know what you have done took days and days of careful preparation, design, and persistence. Your efforts have certainly paid off and I am extremely appreciative!
